Our Kayleebug...

I said I was not going to add pics every day, but I love to take pics and Kaylee is just so daggone cute! She is such a happy baby. I regret bragging yesterday about her sleeping through the night for three days. Last night was pretty bad, she woke up several times during the night and it took a while to get her back to sleep. We took Kaylee to get her one year pictures today. They turned out really good. We HAD to get a lot!! I brought two outfits to change her in to. Kaylee would not put her arms down and she kept "hunching, ducking" down, like a boxer. It had all of us laughing, even the photographer. We are so excited to see them...

Fun day...

We had a great day...we went shopping with my sister, Trudy. We bought a couple of cd's for Kaylee. She loves music and dancing. Dylan made the JV soccer team for his high school. He called and told me this morning, so I bought him some balloons and tonight for dinner we had subs, and Grandpa George and Matthew came over for dinner to celebrate. Here are a few pictures of our fun day...

What a special day...

My sisters, Peggy and Trudy really out did themselves with the baby shower they gave for us. I was speechless when walking in the church and seeing all the decorations. They had chinese lanterns, lights, streamers, candles, rose petals, table cloths...They also made a "diaper cake", that was so pretty. It was three tiers of diapers and had baby items all over it, the top had precious moments boy and girl that says a prayer. It was very touching. There were so many friends and family that atteneded. My sisters worked so hard to make this a special day for us.

Our friends in Arizona...

Our friends Dan and Selina King are getting ready to go to China to get their beautiful little girl, Leah. I would just like to say that this couple mean a lot to Mark, Dylan and I. I have been talking to Selina for months/years during our "wait" and she is such a positive and caring person. Selina has been my shoulder to cry on, and my partner in crime for a long time now. I was so shocked and blessed to get to meet them in San Francisco when we got back from China. They flew in just to meet us. We were really touched by this. We can't wait to see pics of their GOTCHA DAY with Leah. I just came across this picture today and it brought back memories of our weekend in SF. They leave for China in 5 days...We love you guys!

1 month since GOTCHA DAY...

We have had our baby girl for one month today! She is such a sweet little girl. To me it feels like we have had her forever. I look at her and am just in love...Kaylee has learned how to play "copycat". I was blinking my eyes today during snack and she can't do one at a time, bt she did both. It was very cute. Mark and Dylan taught her to smack her mouth and hum like an Indian. She even will pat me on the back when I hold her. I guess she got that from me, because I always pat her on the back or bottom when she goes to sleep. We went to our first Bible study since getting back from China. Everyone was happy to see her. Aunt Peggy is coming tomorrow and Dylan has to get a physical in the morning, need I say, we will be busy.

Here we go again...

I can't believe I am doing this again so soon...I have had so many family, friends and on line friends ask me, "Where are the pics and journal entries?" I will say, I have missed getting on line and spilling my soul out for the entire world. This site will be a little different though. We have been home for 15 days now, and I STILL have not conquered the sleeping problem. Kaylee is teething and wakes up several times a night crying. I have done everything, motrin, tylenol, orejel, extra bottles, praying...I have been thinking that maybe she is grieving. We will keep plugging along and hopefully soon, she will be sleeping through the night. My sisters are giving us a welcome home/meet Kaylee party this Saturday at our church. They have been quite secretive over this, so check back for pictures and entries.
